Happy New Year everyone! Yes, I am all smiles and happy to be back at stamping! I had a really restful and somewhat soggy holiday this year as some of you know from my last post. The floodwaters have been receding and all roads are open, so life is back to normal. But at least being somewhat “housebound over that weekend, I got some swaps done for a mail-in swap I joined to get new cards for the new Occasions catalog!
Today’s card is one of those swaps and features the Botanical Gardens paper and from the Greatest Greetings set, the phrase Sending Smiles. I love all the phrases in this set. It is a must have if you want a set wit a lot of versatility. This card also gave me the chance to use some of the two-tone baker’s twine. I love this twine! It gives you a lot of elegance with very little effort. And the card needed a little something, so I addd 2 of the “It’s My Party” enamel dots. I love the big small sizes. It makes for more interest that dots or brads of the same size.
Well, that’s it for today!
