This card was made using the Happiest of Days stamp set. It is a wonderfully cute addition to the birthday sets available from Stampin’ Up. And it’s a stamp set you can use for other ‘happy” occasions as well. Wedding, congratulations, etc. are all possibilities with this simple but beautiful little set.
So things stayed simple, I used white and powder pink card stock with black ink. A touch of vellum paper, some white baker’s twine and a little pearl were all that was needed to complete this dainty little card. Use any scraps of paper you have to back the design and that will determine your color scheme! This is a design all about being minimal. A Stampin’ Write marker was used to color in a few placed on the cake. You could also use your blender pens to color in. The rose was fussy cut from the stamped image to make s cute 3-D decoration on the cake. The rose needed “something” and the basic pearl was just the touch!
So, if you have someone you want to wish the “Happiest of Days” to, this is your stamp set! And just a hint, the Fresh Florals DSP Paper Stack is great to have on hand. You get 40 sheets of 10 designs in each of the In Colors!
