Aren’t you in love with Forever Fern? It’s such a beautiful stamp set and I am finding it’s very versatile too! I had a challenge with my Demonstrator Swap group to creat a “spring floral” card. I saw a card on Pinterest and decided to CASE it. The card on Pinterest was all done in browns, which looked great. But I needed something brighter.
i also wanted to use Forever Fern, which doesn’t have a single flower in the set! But I think I faked it well by stamping one of the leaf sets in the new pretty, bright pink that is Magenta Madness! I stayed with all the new In Colors as I think all of these work beautifully together.
I stamped off to give this design a watercolor look. The speckles stamp added even more of a watercolor look. And just to make it really looked like a watercolored design, I embossed the stamped card front with the Tasteful Textile embossing folder. To keep it sweet, I used a gingham ribbon and added a die cut heart in Magenta Madness topped with a linen bow!
The ribbon and the bow didn’t seem like it was enough. Looking through my embellishments, I decided these Mango Melody sequins were close enough in color to work and add a bit of sparkle.

Lovely colors on a beautiful card! ♥ I love that you gave this beautiful stamp set a new look by changing up the colors.
